Commercial heating pump replacement in Melbourne

The job

A church in Melbourne needed a replacement pump for its commercial heating system. The existing pump had to come out, and the pipework needed adapting so the new pump could be connected to the system properly.

What we did

We recommended replacing the pump and installing suitable 42mm copper connections, so the new pump could be properly connected to the system. We removed the existing pump, fitted a new Alpha1 pump in its place, then installed and connected new 42mm copper pipework to suit the commercial heating system.

Challenges

This was large-bore work. The installation involved working with 42mm copper pipework in a commercial plant room, a different scale of job to everyday domestic heating pipework, with the new connections made to suit the system.

The replacement pump is installed and connected using new 42mm copper pipework, completing the heating pump replacement on the church's commercial heating system in Melbourne.
